For most of Mrs. Akbari's life she has worked as a hair care
professional and has been a license and board certified Cosmetologist as well as an Aesthetician
for 29 years. Mrs. Akbari holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Trichology and
now completing her Doctoral Degree.
Mrs. Akbari began her serious study in the field of Trichology, after God revealed to her the hair and scalp problems that many women were having.
Mrs. Akbari was led by the Heavenly Father to remove herself from the styling chair, and began her research, studying hair strands of all types and textures. Her finding provided many
theories. This led to more extensive tests, studies and research . The many hours of research, tests, and studies resulted in the discovery of a hair disorder, that she coined as "Short Hair Syndrome". This disorder prevents the hair strands from obtaining it's potential length / or fullness, and is the leading cause of hair breakage and many forms of baldness. Mrs. Akbari has also done research on the scalp and its disorders, and is now conducting a study call "Scalp as Skin". This study is proving many theories that Mrs. Akbari had about the scalp and its ability to heal when the right environment is created. The "Scalp is Skin" Study has also provided proof that the hair will regrow when a healing
environment is created.
Mrs. Akbari has dedicated her professional life to the hair care industry and her clients. As a stylist,
she had always maintained a large clientele and worked on many hair teams, and as a platform artist.
As a salon owner, along with her husband, she successfully operated a full service salon and day spa,
with 7 departments and 24 employees for 10 years. As an educator, she has trained hundreds of stylist
and hair care professionals on how to create hair styles without sacrificing the health of their
client's scalp and hair. As a Hair and Scalp Care Professional, Mrs. Akbari, along with her husband,
owns and operates a Research & Treatment Clinic that focuses on the preservation of the hair and scalp.
